Marri & Sawyer are unstoppable! And I mean this in the absolute best way possible. High winds, rain & a global pandemic could not stop this couple from having the sweetest ceremony with their families. Everyone around them came together to put together a beautiful intimate celebration for the couple and it was with filled with so many personal touches from both their families.
Marri started the day at Mirbeau Inn in Skaneateles, where her sister did her hair & makeup. Her floral arrangement was put together by a family member (which I could not believe because it is seriously a masterpiece). The ceremony was held at Marri’s family home on Skaneateles Lake, which could not have led to a prettier backdrop to say your wedding vows.
Their celebration followed, where family quickly (seriously in the blink of of an eye) constructed, deconstructed and re-constructed all of the tables, florals & place settings to outsmart the incoming wind. Then did this AGAIN to outsmart the 5 minute downpour before dinner. If there was a pit crew for wedding set up – this is the family you want on your team!
The groom’s grandmother baked a special family bread for the dinner and the tables were set with both family’s china, a Hamilton reference was sung and toasts were made – I don’t think you could ask for anything better!
